18- and 15-year-old charged in St. Henry burglary

An 18-year-old Huntingburg woman was charged with burglary and theft in connection with a burglary that occurred in St. Henry on February 11.

According to Det. Sgt. Tom Kleinhelter, the sheriff’s department responded to the report of a burglary in the St. Henry area the morning of the 11th. The resident stated several firearms and ammunition were stolen.

Police developed probable cause to apply and subsequently be granted an arrest warrant for Justice Mundy. She was arrested Friday, February 17 and charged with a Level 5 felony count of burglary, a Level 6 felony count of theft and a Class A misdemeanor count of theft.

A 15-year-old juvenile was also cited into juvenile court for these crimes.

According to police, all firearms were recovered.

The sheriff’s department stated all individual’s are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
