Shannon K. Sermersheim, 50, Jasper

Shannon K. Sermersheim, 50, of Jasper, passed away at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at home.

Shannon was born in Jasper, Indiana on June 28, 1965 to Jerry and Dianne (Fleck) Sermersheim.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, the VFW Post #673 Auxiliary, the American Legion Post #147 Auxiliary, and the Jasper Moose.

She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Megan Jaleigh Kaeck and husband Michael of Huntingburg; father, Jerry Sermersheim and wife Virginia of Jasper; four grandchildren, Austin, Liam, Harper, and Calvin Kaeck.

Preceding her in death was her mother, Dianne Fleck-Sermersheim.

Funeral services for Shannon Sermersheim will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow at Jasper Enlow City Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. The St. Joseph Parish will pray the rosary at 2:45 p.m.
