Louise A. Weisheit, 83, Jasper

Louise A. Weisheit, 83, of Jasper, passed away at 10:14 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2016, in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born at Dubois, Indiana on January 11, 1933, to Carl Walter and Barbara (Voelkel) Hemmerlein. She married Kenneth Weisheit on September 24, 1953. He preceded her in death on August 18, 2013.
She retired from Jasper Wood Products where she worked for many years.
She was a Charter member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jasper where she was very active in her church.
She enjoyed grandchildren, quilting, gardening and her flowers.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan Gress and husband Terry of Ireland and Patti Darnell and husband Ken of Mount Sterling, Ky.; six grandchildren, Kelli, Amber and Travis Gress, A.J. Darnell, Kerri Darnell-Jones and Kenneth “Grant” Darnell; sister, Cleonia Mills of Greenwood, Ind.
Preceding her in death besides her husband are two brothers, Amos and Calvin Hemmerlein.
Funeral services for Louise Weisheit will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Redeemer Lutheran Church with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum. Pastor Adam Ruschau will officiate.
Friends may call from noon to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2016, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at the church.
