Amy R. Gramelspacher, 41, Jasper

Amy R. Gramelspacher, 41, of Jasper, passed away at 12:55 a.m. Sunday, October 8, 2017, in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born in Jasper on April 11, 1976, to Donald & Carol (Kluesner) Gutgsell. She married David L. Gramelspacher II on May 20, 1995, in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois, Indiana. Amy was a graduate of Northeast Dubois High School Class of 1994.

Amy had worked for Sander Catering for 15 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and active in her sons Boy Scout and Little League baseball, football and basketball programs. Her hobbies were camping with friends, crafts, gardening and canning and time with family.

She is survived by her husband, David Gramelspacher; son, Jace Gramelspacher; parents, Don and Carol Gutgsell of Dubois; one brother, Troy Gutgsell (Laura) of Dubois; two sisters, Annette Bader (John) of Sellersburg and Dr. Jessica Carmichael of Fort Reiley, Kansas.

Mass of Christian Burial for Amy Gramelspacher will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2017, in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lange Fuhs Cancer Center or her son, Jace Gramelspacher #529 college fund.
