Arlita C.” Libby” Hedinger, 80, of Jasper, Indiana passed away at 6:29 p.m. on Thursday, January 1, 2015, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.

Libby was born in Ferdinand, Indiana on July 31, 1934 to Gerald and Lorena (Fischer) Uebelhor. She married Albert F. Reinsch on May 1, 1954. He preceded her in death on August 11, 1982. Her second marriage was to William H. Hedinger on May 26, 1984. He preceded her in death on December 27, 2011.

Libby was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Jasper D of I, St. Ann’s Society, a homebound Eucharistic Minister, a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Fireman’s Auxiliary, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Decorating Committee, and a member of several other committees at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, baking, painting, and sewing.

She is survived by two daughters, Jan Kramer, and her husband David, of Jasper and Jill Mitchell of Liberty Township, Ohio; two sons, Ted Reinsch, and his wife Julee, of Kansas City, Mo. and Tom E. Reinsch I, and his wife, Stephanie, of Jasper; two step-daughters, Christy Hedinger and Cindy Hedinger, both of Tampa, Fla.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her husbands are one grandson, Zac Reinsch and one brother, Ron Uebelhor.

Funeral services for Arlita C. “Libby” Hedinger will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call from 2:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. The D of I and St. Ann’s Society will pray a rosary at 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dominican Sisters of Mary Mother of the Eucharist of Ann Arbor Michigan, the Dubois County Food Bank, Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA) or to a favorite charity.
