Barbara Webster, 89

Barbara Webster, 89, of Jasper, Indiana passed away at 9:25 a.m. Friday, December 26, 2014, in the Cathedral Health Care, Jasper, Indiana.

She was born at Rushville, Indiana on June 17, 1925 to Gilbert and Dorothy (Shockney) Murphy. She married Robert Webster on February 24, 1951 at Indianapolis, Indiana.

Barbara was a homemaker and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Jasper. She enjoyed needle point, embroidering, cooking, and playing the piano and organ.

She is survived by a daughter, Vanessa Lee Webster of Jasper; one grandson, Chad Kinney of Indian Harbor, Fla.; one great granddaughter, Penny; sister, Mary Lou Crawford of Carmel; niece, Debbie Babcock and her husband David of Westfield, Ind. and their child Stephanie; other nieces and nephews, Judy Gracie and her husband Al of Florida, Marci Sauls and her husband David of Penn., David Martin and his wife Michelle of Indianapolis; sister-in-law, Patti Webster of Fischers; nephews, Chris, RM, Heather and Sarah and their children.

Preceding her in death besides her husband is a daughter Diana L. Webster also one sister Betty C. Martin.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2014, at Trinity United Church of Christ in Jasper with entombment to follow in Crown Hill Mausoleum in Indianapolis, Indiana at a later date. The Rev. Jane Hillman will officiate.
