Bart Matthew Houchin, 33

Bart Matthew Houchin, 33, of Holland, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at his residence.

He was born May 10, 1981 in Evansville, Indiana, to Rick and Connie (Arnold) Houchin.  Bart was a welder by trade.  He was also a musician, played guitar, and led the band Dunwich.

He is survived by his parents, Rick and Connie Houchin of Stendal; his stepson, Christopher Williams of Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister and brother-in-law, Kim and husband Matt Vaughn of Stendal; one brother, Brett Houchin and his girlfriend, Taylor Barnett, of Newburgh; his grandmother, Imogene Russell of Winslow; one niece, Shelby Vaughn at home in Stendal; and by aunts and uncles.

Funeral services for Bart Houchin will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2014, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Cup Creek Cemetery near Pikeville.  Services will be officiated by Elder Tim Hopper.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2-7 p.m., on Saturday; and also from 12-2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
