“Bob” Robert Frank Reisinger, 71, Evansville

“Bob” Robert Frank Reisinger, 71, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at home.

He was born on September 1, 1950, to the late Alfred and Edna (Schmidt) Reisinger.

Bob was a member of Saint Boniface Catholic Church. A member of Local 136 Plumbers Steamfitters Union for 49 plus years. He retired in 2005. Bob enjoyed coaching his sons in T-ball and then baseball for 10 years.

After retirement, Bob loved playing softball and riding his bike while wintering in Florida; playing with his grandchildren, enjoyed mowing grass at Burdette Park.

He was affectionately known to some as “The Bob.”

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jim.

He was survived by his wife, Micki of 49 years; son, Bobby Reisinger (Penny) of Evansville, Jake Reisinger (Jill) of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Bailey Reisinger of Haubstadt, IN, Leighton (Katlyn) Reisinger of Evansville, IN, Gavin Reisinger of Morganfield, KY, Tyler Hargrove (Ashley) of Morganfield, KY; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Andrew, Paxtyn, Sophie, Kenley, Everly, Sevi, Reese; brother, Dan (Ruth) Reisinger of Evansville, IN; sisters, Judy (George) Becher of Huntingburg, Fran Adams of Evansville, IN; brother and sister’s-in-law, Jim (Shannon), Randy (Leisa), Leann, Jill, Karen, David (Michelle), Robin (Rob), Jackie (Jay), Steve (Shannon),Jeff (Esther), Duane (Jodi).; many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Deaconess Hospice nurses that cared for him.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2701 W. Franklin St. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Alexander West Chapel and from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
