Boots and Bulls: Rodeo and concert set for June 4

Dubois County Boots and Bulls, a rodeo and concert experience, returns on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Dubois County 4-H Fairgrounds. Event highlights include National Federation Professional bull riding and a concert by No Fences – The Garth Brooks Tribute Band. Produced by Rally Point Events and presented by Visit Dubois County, Inc., proceeds are used to purchase shoes for kids and veterans.  

The rodeo features bull riding, Mutton Bustin, and barrel racing for two hours of nonstop adrenaline fun. Limited open spots for barrel racing and Mutton Bustin’ will be announced on Facebook two weeks before the event. The rodeo is a Rafter 7p Production and is presented by Busch Beer and Busch Light.  

“After a sold-out rodeo last year, we are excited to bring this event to the community again,” Rally Point Events President Lance Yearby says. “Enhancements for this year include additional seating, an upgraded sound and light system, and mobile ticketing.” 

Capping off the entertainment is the Southwest-Indiana-based No Fences – The Garth Brooks Tribute Band. Concertgoers can expect the iconic country singer’s look, sound, and energy to be replicated by seasoned musicians. Band members have previously opened for Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, and more. The concert is presented by Springs Valley Bank & Trust Company. 

With funds generated by local events, including Dubois County Boots and Bulls and the Red, White, and Brauen Music Festival, Rally Point Events was able to supply over 400 local veterans with brand new footwear through the organization’s Combat Boots to Work Boots program in partnership with Shoe Sensation. In addition to veteran givebacks, Rally Point Events is teaming up with the Optimist Club of Jasper to provide shoes to kids throughout Dubois County. 

Admission is $20 plus fees and includes parking. Children eight and under are free. This is a limited capacity event, and advance ticket purchases are highly encouraged. If tickets remain, they will be available at the gate for $25. Food trucks and a beer garden will be onsite. Tickets are on sale now at www.DuboisCountyBB.com.
