Brew-B-Q pops up on Fourth Street for Christmas Stroll

Josh Premuda poses in the window of the popup expansion of Brew. The Jasper restaurant will be serving barbecue over the Huntingburg Christmas Stroll starting today.

A new barbecue restaurant is opening up on Fourth Street. Temporarily.

Barry Dunlop and Josh Premuda, owners of Brew in Jasper, have opened a pop-up barbecue joint, Brew-B-Q, for the Christmas Stroll. Located at 412 E. Fourth Street, the small space that has been empty for a few months now features colorful chairs and tables for visitors to stop in for a barbecue meal and a drink.

Brew-B-Q will have three barbecue sauces available with the choices of meats and sides.

Brew-B-Q features a choice of pulled pork, barbecue chicken or sausage links with two sides for $10. Three different sauces are available and drinks and peach cobbler are extra.

According to Premuda, the pop-up idea came about because of a friendship with the owners of the building generously offering him the space for the weekend. Popup restaurant, coffee and retail concepts are growing popularity in larger metropolitan areas and the offer from the building owners made it an easy decision to test out popping up the new eatery.

Bringing barbecue to Huntingburg is also a way to test out some concepts the pair have for future endeavors for the area.

Brew-B-Q opens Thursday at 11 a.m. and will be open everyday through the stroll.
