Carolyn S. Vaughn, 70

Carolyn S. Vaughn, 70, of Jasper, Indiana passed away at 8:40 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2014, in Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

She was born at Lula, Tennessee on April 17, 1944 to James L. and Beulah (Hysmith) Vandiver. She married Donald Vaughn on April 17, 1982 in Reynosa, Mexico.

Carolyn retired as a financial accounts manager for a Mobile Home Sales Company in Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Vaughn of Jasper; daughter, Donna Sanderson and her husband Garry, of Scottsboro, Ala.;  son, Charles Cochran and wife Lori, Victoria, Texas; mother, Beulah Vandiver of Henderson, Tenn.; stepdaughters, Audrey Frank of Evansville and Wendy Kunzler of Ohio; four grandchildren, Jessica Eberle, Anthony Cochran, Chris Sanderson and Meagan Cochran; sisters, Freida Ann Cleek and husband Jerry, of Middleton, Tenn., Wanda Reece and husband Joe, of Pinson, Tenn., Brenda Guinn and husband Jerry,of Henderson, Tenn., Karen Ross and husband Dennis, of Henderson, Tenn., Judy Foster, of Henderson, Tenn. and Marilyn Rowin and husband Arnold, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; brother, Mike Vandiver and his wife Debbie, of Henderson, Tenn; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Carolyn S. Vaughn will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014, at the Shackleford Funeral Home, Casey Chapel, 304 Crook Ave. Henderson, Tennessee 38340-1918, with burial to follow in Chester County Memory Gardens Cemetery in Henderson, Tennessee.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014, until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
