Charles David Ragan, 52

Charles David Ragan, age 52, of Stendal, Indiana, passed away at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at his residence from a heart attack.

He was born October 1, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois to Arthur D. and Charlotte (Ohlsen) Ragan. Charles graduated from Sikeston High School and attended Tarkio University both in Missouri; he was employed by Owen Detective Agency; enjoyed computer games and stamp collecting; was a ham radio operator; and was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur D. Ragan.

He is survived by his mother, Charlotte Ragan of Stendal; his daughter and son-in-law, Crystal (Bryan) Grenert of Princeton; his loving and devoted longtime companion, Lacey (maiden name: Hollingsworth) Ragan of Stendal; one brother, Robert (Connie) Ragan of Ider, Ala.; one sister, Charlene Ragan of Stendal; and one grandchild.

There will be no public visitation or services. Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the arrangements.
