Charles John Chase, 73

Charles John Chase, 73, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away September 22, 2015, at his residence in Florida.

He was born January 6, 1942 in New Albany, Indiana, to Horace and Helen Marjorie (Main) Chase.

Mr. Chase was a photographer and worked in sales. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mr. Chase is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Candace (Charlie) Portman of Louisville, Ky.; and one grandson, Chase Portman of Louisville, Ky.

Graveside services for Charles John Chase will be held at 1:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday, October 17th, 2015, at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg, Indiana, with military graveside rites conducted by the V.F.W. Post #2366 Memorial Detail.  Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the arrangements.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

A memorial service will be held at Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Coral, Florida, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Coral, Florida, or to the Disabled American Veterans.
