On December 4, Huntingburg is hosting its annual candlelit Christmas Parade from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. EST.
Beginning at St. Mary’s, the parade will start with caroling and trailing the Christmas Star along
4th Street. Joined by a Latino Choir, Santa, and the SHS band at City Hall, the candlelit parade will continue to Salem United Church of Christ.
There, beginning at 7 p.m., guests are invited to participate in an interactive experience of the Christmas Story and events leading up to the birth of Christ. Refreshments will be available, as well as hands-on activities including talking with Mary and Joseph, meeting Baby Jesus and a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Additionally, Ice Skating in the Park will take place Saturday December 11, from 12 to 7 p.m. at Market Street Park. Unlimited skating costs $5.
Also on the 11th, carriage rides will be held through Historic Downtown Huntingburg.
