Cops and Kids 2017

Cops and Kids is an annual shopping trip sponsored through the local Fraternal Order of Police in which members of the local law enforcement branches come together to shop with children involved in First Steps through TRICAP.

During the event, children are paired with officers who take them through Walmart to pick out clothing and toys for them to receive as Christmas presents.

This year, 49 children took part in the event that culminates with a ride to the Jasper Moose where the children eat lunch with the officers and meet Santa Claus.
