Crash possibly caused by illness

Police believe a Jasper man crashed Monday afternoon due to a medical condition.

According to police, the 69-year-old was operating a 2000 Oldsmobile Bravada at about 3:19 p.m. when he nearly struck a police officer stopped on Newton Street at the 13th Street intersection.

The officer activated his lights and sirens but the driver continued northbound at speeds in excess of 90 mile per hour, police said. He continued through the 15th Street intersection and then ran off the left side of the road striking two large trees before stopping.

The Bravada was considered a total loss and the driver was taken to Memorial Hospital.

WHY do they believe it was caused by a medical condition – ?

Probably from actual trained medical staff perhaps? I do find it odd that they didn’t contact you for verification. I would highly doubt there is a big cover up or conspiracy theory in this story.

She has to know EVERYTHING that has happened. All the time…

Actually, not so – I just know that a couple of you can’t resist getting all sideways to no end because you’re unable to handle my questions/comments in stride. Too bad – suggest you chill out and lay off. I could easily complain about your material, which leaves much to be desired, but it takes all kinds to bully an old widowed lady for simply asking questions. Still, hope is not lost for you – you’ll grow up someday.

Unlike other reports, no names were given. Persons of Fine Lineage ? But then a 2000 model vehicle. Must be a Piker!
