Daniel Hubert, 53, Tell City

Daniel Hubert, 53, of Tell City, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023.

He was born July 21, 1969, in Huntingburg to Marvin Edward and Charlotte Ann (Klueh) Hubert.

Daniel was a 1987 graduate of Perry Central High School and was currently employed with National Office Furniture, where he worked for 32 years. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church.

A true native of Apalona, Daniel enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing euchre and pitching horseshoes with his buddies.

He liked to tend to his vegetable garden and spend time with his family, especially spoiling his grandkids.

He is survived by his children, Misty Mangel of Bristow, Jesse Hubert (Clay Rothrock) of Thorton, CO, Kegan (Nicole) Hubert, and Dillon (Ashley) Hubert, all of Apalona; his mother, Charlotte Hubert, Apalona; a sister, Diana (Dale) Hendricks of Apalona, two brothers, Stephen (Lily) Hubert of Fulda and Keith (Bev) Hubert of English; grandchildren, Kindra and April Mangel, Alex Denny, Riley and Piper Hubert, Reese, and Wells Hubert; and companion, Pam VanConey of Apalona.

Preceding Daniel in death was his wife, Lisa Heichelbech Hubert, in 2009 and his father, Marvin Hubert.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. CST on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at St. Isidore Catholic Church, with Fr. Luke Waugh presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. CST at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. CST at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Isidore Catholic Church.
