Dee Ann Hagemeyer, 72
Dee Ann Hagemeyer, age 72, of Stendal, Indiana, passed away at 2:45 p.m., Sunday, November 4, 2012 in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born July 9, 1940 in Stendal, Indiana to Lowell and Ruby (Katter) Oxley. She married Paul J. Hagemeyer on August 9, 1959 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Stendal.
Dee Ann was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, sewing & cooking; and she was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church where she served as church custodian.
Dee Ann was preceded in death by: her parents; and one sister, Barbara Luker.
She is survived by:

Two daughters and two son-in-laws,

- Janet (Brad) Tassell – Bowling Green, KY
Two brothers,
- Lester Oxley – Stendal, IN
- Leo Oxley – Stendal, IN
and by (4) granddaughters,
Ashley Cook, Aubrie Cook, Allison Cook, and Darby Tassell.
Funeral services for Dee Ann Hagemeyer will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.S.T., on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Stendal with burial to follow at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in Stendal. Pastor Ed Wicks will officiate the services.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Tuesday; and also at the church in Stendal from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Wednesday morning, prior to the funeral. Memorial contributions may be made to: St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
