The Dubois County Museum, Inc. Board of Directors announced its upcoming annual membership dinner scheduled for Thursday, January 27, 2022.
The museum is celebrating its 23rd year as part of preserving Dubois County’s history and culture.
Fellowship will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a catered meal from Fueled Strength to follow at 6:30 p.m. Cost of the meal is $25 per person.
The board has adopted the slogan “Supporting our community with old paths and new directions” as they look to 2022 and the years beyond.
“These past two years of a worldwide pandemic with Covid-19 have challenged our way of life, but we believe we are emerging stronger and more resilient with what life brings us,” they said in a press release. “We are looking down those old paths that got us here today and are excited about what new directions and possibilities may be ahead for us.”
Attendees will be treated to memories and stories from Arnie Mehringer based on his many experiences with folks while he has taken them on tours of the enormous collection housed in the museum.
A reservation form was included in the Quarterly Newsletter sent in December. The form is also available at the lobby desk at the museum. The deadline to register is January 20, 2022.
