Early voting starts Wednesday, October 10

Early voting for the 2018 Midterm Elections begins this Wednesday, October 10 and ends on Monday, November 5.

There are 29,833 registered voters in Dubois County; during the last midterm election in 2014, 11,827 voters turned out.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 6.

Any registered voter is eligible to vote early as an absentee voter at the following locations and times. Voter registration in Indiana officially ends on Tuesday.

The Dubois County Courthouse Annex will be open for voting from Wednesday, October 10 to Monday, November 5 during the following hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, October 27 and Saturday, November 3 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Monday, November 5 8 a.m. to noon

A Jasper satellite voting location will be available at the 35th Street Fire Station from Monday, October 29th to Friday, November 2nd from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday, October 27th and Saturday, November 3rd from 8 a.m. to noon.

Voting will be open at the Huntingburg Event Center, Ferdinand Public Library and Dubois Fire Station will be open Saturday, October 27th and Saturday, November 3rd from 8 a.m. to noon.

The Birdseye Fire Station will be open for absentee voting on Saturday, November 3rd from 8 a.m. to noon.

Roaming satellite locations will also be open for voting the following days.

The St. Henry Fire Station on Monday, October 29th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Haysville Fire Station on Tuesday, October 30th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Schnellville Fire Station on Wednesday, October 31st from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Dubois Library on Thursday, November 1st from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Birdsey Fire Station on Friday, November 2nd from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  1. I would like to add that for the Greater Jasper School Corporation race any voter who lives in the School Corporation’s district / area can vote for this race. I keep getting told I don’t live in your District, I can not vote for you. This is not correct. We as members of the Board have to live in a specific district however everyone can vote in this race.
