Edith M. Soellner, 73, Jasper

Edith M. Soellner, 73, of Jasper, passed away at 4:57 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2016, in the Water Health Care Center in Huntingburg.

She was born in Stewart County Tennessee on March 1, 1943, to Charles and Margie (Ezell) Bogard.

Edith retired from Aristokraft Cabinets in Jasper where she had worked for many years. She is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Blessed Virgin Sodality. Her enjoyment was her grandchildren and reading novels.

She is survived by two daughters, Julie Green and husband Dennis of Loogootee and Jan Luker and husband Bryan of Holland; two sons, Michael Soellner and his wife Regina of Jasper and Larry Soellner and his wife Melissa of Chester, Ill.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death is one daughter, Jennifer; one brother, Steve Bogard; and one sister, Mary Ann Bogard.

Funeral services for Edith Soellner will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016, in Holy family Catholic Church with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.

Blessed Virgin Sodality will have a rosary service at 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
