Ferdinand Library December activities

*Teens are welcome to come to the Library every Monday after school for ‘Motivation Monday’. There will be something to enjoy, to do or to eat!  There will be free pizza available on December 20th

*There will be an ‘Art Time For Littles’ class on December 28th.  Children 5 and under are invited to this creative experience! 

*There will be ‘Gingerbread House Decorating’ for kids on 12/20 at 3:30 & 6:00pm.  Registration required at www.jdcpl.us

*Adults can stop by on 12/9 at 6pm to make a bow out of napkins and/or decorate a gift bag in preparation for holiday gift giving. 

*The public is welcome to come in on December 16th to pick up a kit to make a tree out of a magazine. 

*Hoopla is now available to Patrons for free through their library card. Hoopla is a digital media service that allows you to borrow movies, music, e-audiobooks and e-books. 

*The public is welcome to stop by and pick up a Candy Sushi Making Kit while supplies last beginning 12/1. 

*Stories for Littles will be on December 13th with local Author Lisa Pieterse-Carson. No registration required. There will be no storytime on 12/23 or 12/30.  

*The Ferdinand Library is asking help to ‘Fill A Basket’ for the Ferdinand Senior Center. Drop off items like gloves, hats, personal care items, cleaning supplies, etc.  A full list of items needed is available at the Library. 

*The Ferdinand Library Adult Book Clubs will be on 12/2 at 2pm and 12/15  at 6:30pm.  Call the Library for more information 812.367.1671. 

*Ferdinand Library will be starting a Pokemon Club on Saturday, 12/11 at 2pm.  All ages welcome  – children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult please.  The Pokemon Club plans to meet on the second Saturday of every month at 2pm. 

*The Friends Of The Ferdinand Library Basement Book Sale will be Saturday, 12/11 from 10am-1pm. 

The Library’s hours are Monday thru Thursday, 9am-8pm (EST) and Friday thru Saturday, 9am-5pm (EST).  The Library will be closed on 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, 1/1/22 and 1/2/22.
