French Lick Scenic Railway seeking actors/actresses for The Polar Express
The French Lick Scenic Railway is seeking actors and actresses for the following roles for the 2019 Production of THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride.
All positions are paid acting roles.
Character Breakdown: (improv skills for each character is required)
Elf: Male or Female, 13+, outgoing, personable, cheery, fun (ability to learn dance steps and songs is a must)
Conductor: Male or Female, 18+, personable, mature, responsible
Paperboy: Male or Female, 13+, outgoing, cheery, responsible, able to be a self-starter
Santa: Male, 45+, cheerful, sincere, warm, full of Christmas spirit (real beards required)
Audition Dates and Times:
-September 11th from 5:30pm-8:00pm at the Jasper Train Depot, 201 Mill St., Jasper, IN 47546
-September 12th from 5:30pm-8:00pm at the French Lick Depot, 8594 W. St. Rd. 56, French Lick, IN 47432
Commitment Dates:
Orientation: September 29-30 (attendance at one date is required)
Rehearsals:
10/13, 10/16, 10/17, 10/20, 10/23, 10/24, 10/27, 10/30, 10/31, 11/03, 11/04, 11/05, 11/07
(Attendance of two rehearsals per week is required)
Attendance at Dress Rehearsal on Thursday, November 7th is required. Please do not audition if you cannot attend this rehearsal

Requirements: Current headshot not required, but helpful. Please have scheduling conflicts at auditions
Actors will not do every performance listed; however, preference will be given to actors with open availability.
