Buehler Inc announced Save A Lot will be rebranded as Cash Saver Market beginning December 8.

According to the company, Cash Saver Market is a Cost Plus Food Store with a focus on the best value for your dollar while still providing the assortment of both national and private labels that customers demand.

“We are thrilled to bring a new approach to grocery in Jasper,” said Matt Dills, Buehler Inc. Chief Operations Officer. “Boom goes the dynamite.”

Cash Saver Market will provide a wide range of highly rated wines, a large assortment of craft beer, full lines of organic and gluten-free items, Black Angus Beef, Smithfield Prime Pork and local options such as Fischer Farms Meats, Steckler Grassfed meats and cheeses, Libby’s Ice Cream, Dad’s Rootbeer, and Celebration Ice. A full line of Hispanic items will also be available.

According to the company, cost plus refers to their cost to get the product to the shelf. “Simply put, if we can cut out themiddlemann we pass along the savings,” they said in a press release. “Coke 2-liters for $0.99 + 10% everyday, 20oz White Bread $0.69 + 10% everyday. If we don’t have to pay freight to ship product, labor to stock the product, etc. we don’t make you, the customer pay market rates. We won’t be the cheapest on every item, no one can be, but we will save you money.”

Excitement is high for the transition from Save A Lot to Cash Saver Market.

Save A Lot will close for business at 6 p.m. on November 28 and will reopen as Cash Saver Market at 8am on Dec. 8.
