Harold L. Dittelberger, age 89 of Ireland, passed away at 11:55 a.m., Monday (September 17, 2012) at Brookside Village in Jasper, IN.
He was born December 6, 1922 in Pendelton County, Kentucky to Frank and Marie (Fimke) Dittelberger. He married Anna Mae Gerner on April 4, 1944. She preceded him in death on May 16, 2012.
He was a past part-owner of Mundy Implement. He was a member of the Army, serving as a medic during WWII.
He liked spending time outdoors and spending time with his family.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland.

Preceding Harold in death beside his wife are one sister, Rose Mary Dittelberger, and two brothers, Ben and Henry Dittelberger.
Funeral services for Harold L. Dittelberger will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday (September 22, 2012) at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, with burial to follow in St Mary’s Cemetery. The V.F.W. Post #673 will conduct military graveside rites.
Friends may call one hour before service from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland.
