Hazel Harbison, 88

Hazel Harbison, age 88, of Jasper, Indiana and formerly of Loogootee, Indiana, passed away at 7:47 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2014 in The Timbers of Jasper Healthcare Center in Jasper.

She was born July 13, 1925 in Martin County Indiana to Arthur and Goldie (Swayze) Jones.

She married Robert Harbison and he preceded her in death.

Hazel was a waitress and business owner for many year operating the Diamond Café in Loogootee.

She is a member of the Methodist Faith.

She is survived by her son, Steven Bough and spouse, Ruth, of Jasper; daughter, Debra Fredrick and spouse Mike, of Washington, Ind.; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her husband is one grandson Chris Carrico and one great grandson Curtis Mitchell Hasenour, two brothers, Talford and Elden Jones and one sister Lois Harker.

Graveside services will be held at the Goodwill Cemetery in Loogootee, Indiana at a later date.
