Helming appointed to Hoosier Hills Supervisory Committee

Chad Helming of Jasper has been appointed to serve on the Hoosier Hills Credit Union Supervisory Committee.

His term will begin on January 1, 2020.

“A wealth of professional experience and success, plus qualities such as being a 10-year HHCU member make Helming a perfect fit,” said Don Brandt, who chairs the Supervisory Committee. “We wanted to fill this vacancy on the Committee with the right person. Chad applied with the perfect background and experience. He’s exactly who we were looking for.”

A manufacturing engineer at Kimball Electronics in Jasper, Helming and his wife have five children. He worked for Master Brand Cabinets in multiple engineering roles for more than 20 years and is a co-owner of his family’s plumbing, heating and air conditioning company.

Helming holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from Indiana State University and has been a Hoosier Hills Credit Union member for more than 10 years.

Helming’s community involvement includes serving as a girls softball coach and boys assistant baseball coach in Ireland as well as being a trustee and treasurer for the Portersville Cemetery Committee. He is also a member of the Indiana Association of Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors.
