Hoosier Hills Credit Union (HHCU) pledged $30,000 over the next three years to support Jasper LEADs—the capital campaign supporting the creation of the Jasper Cultural Center.

The Community Fund Drive for the LEADS project was launched through the combined efforts of the Jasper Community Arts Commission and the Jasper Public Library Board. The project also supports the renovation and reactivation of the historic Astra Theater and refurbishing of the current Jasper Arts Center for additional quality arts programming.

Hoosier Hills President and CEO George McNichols is looking forward to both the cultural and economic growth the Community Fund Drive will support. “Part of our mission at Hoosier Hills is to be better for our members by making a positive difference in their communities,” he said. “We appreciate the efforts of the Jasper Community Arts Commission and that of the Jasper Public Library and are so pleased to have the opportunity to partner in the success of their vision.”

The community investment in the Jasper LEADS project is just one of many local investments HHCU has made in Jasper and surrounding areas. Hoosier Hills is dedicated to being a valued community partner to improve the lives of the members they serve.
