Huntingburg man arrested for child molestation

Tuesday evening, Huntingburg police arrested a Huntingburg man for allegedly molesting a four-year-old girl.

According to police, Detective Sergeant Christian Gogel along with the Dubois County Department of Child and Family Services launched an investigation after receiving information about a child molestation on April 19, 2017. Police said the incident involving a four-year-old girl occurred in March.  

Tuesday, Gogel spoke with Adam Edward Humbert, 37, of 805 E. 8th Street, Huntingburg, at the Huntingburg Police station for further investigation. After the interview, Gogel arrested Humbert charging him with a Level 4 felony count of child molestation. 

Humbert was taken into custody without incident and lodged into the Dubois County Security Center where he is being held without bond.
