Huntingburg Public Library December activities

Children’s Story Hour- Mondays 11 a.m.-12 and Thursdays 1-2 p.m. (Ages 3-5)

Silly Safari Reindeer Program – Tuesday, December 7, 6 p.m. (All ages). Join us to meet a live reindeer, receive a gift and a take-home craft!

“Gingerbread House” Craft – Wednesday, December 8, 6-7:30 (Ages 15 and up). Create a non-edible “Gingerbread” house to add to your holiday decorations. $5.00 fee, Registration required!

Storytime with the Mayor – Saturday, December 11, 10 a.m. (All Ages). Come and enjoy a Christmas story with the Mayor by the Christmas Tree!

Edible Tree Decorating – Saturday, December 11, 10:30 a.m., after Storytime (All Ages). Decorate an edible Christmas tree with candies.

Bilingual Storytime – Tuesday, December 14, 5:30 p.m. (All Ages). “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly” – Guest readers Scott Buening and Carmen Brooks will read a story in English and Spanish, followed by a craft activity.

Make and Take A Snack- Tuesday, December 21, drop-in between 4-7 p.m. (All Ages). Stop by and make a fun, quick snack! This month we’re making “Santa Grahams”! Family Storytime- Monday, December 27, 11 a.m.
