Jasper business owner arrested for voyeurism and exploitation charges

Jasper — Investigators with the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department and Jasper Police Department arrested John R.C. “Caleb” Flick, 28, of 4149 N. Fourth St., Dubois, at the business he owns with his wife Wednesday afternoon.

Police converged on Wonderland Vapor at 301 Main Street at about 2 p.m. to arrest Flick, who was wanted on a warrant from the Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office charging him with 16 Class C felony counts of child exploitation and 16 D Felony counts of voyeurism.

Flick was the subject of an investigation into allegations he took inappropriate pictures of a 14-year-old female without her knowledge or consent at a Dubois residence. The incidents were alleged to have occurred between January 2013 and May of 2014.

The sheriff’s department and Division of Family and Children Services opened the investigation into Flick after his actions were reported last week.

Flick was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at about 2:13 p.m with a $50,000 cash bond.
