Jasper man arrested for $100k in thefts from local company

A former Kimball Electronics employee was arrested for allegedly stealing more than $100,000 worth of items from the company.

According to the Jasper Police Department, an investigation was launched last Friday after they received information from the company about the thefts that had occurred from July of 2018 to December of 2018. Monday at 2:45 p.m., 36-year-old Chad T. Farley of Jasper was arrested and charged for the thefts of the items from the company.

According to police, all the items were located and recovered.

Farley is charged with a Level 5 felony count of theft. He was booked into the Dubois County Security Center.

The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department and Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office assisted in the investigation.
