Kenny C. Mehringer, 72, Ireland
Kenny C. Mehringer, 72, of Ireland, Indiana passed away at 6:15 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at the Heritage Center in Evansville, Indiana.
He was born in Jasper, Indiana on February 27, 1945, to Leo W. and Mary (Goeppner) Mehringer and married Betty Dilger on May 20, 1967.
Kenny was a retired cabinet maker and a farmer. He was a member St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland and the Ireland Knight of Columbus where he served as a past grand Knight. Kenny enjoyed fishing, going to the casino and the St. Louis Cardinals.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Brian K. Mehringer of Ireland; daughter, Amy J. Eger (Brian) of Evansville; two grandchildren, Jarod and Lauren; sister, Linda Underhill (Johnny) of Ferdinand.
Funeral services for Kenny Mehringer will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2017, in St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Ireland Knights of Columbus will have a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be to St. Mary Catholic Church or to The Arc of Evansville.
Linda, you and Johnny have my deepest sympathy on the loss of your brother. I regret not being able to come in person.
