Kent Stafford, 55, Huntingburg
Kent Stafford, 55, of Huntingburg, formerly of Petersburg, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.
He was born October 5, 1962, in Washington to Aaron and Elsie (Emmons) Stafford. He married Tracey Lough on July 1, 1983.
He was a 1980 graduate of Pike Central High School. Kent was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post 0147.
Kent enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and watching and listening to Fox news.
Surviving are his wife Tracey; one son Ronald (Megan) of Washington; two daughters, Jennifer Potts of Ferdinand; Nikki Stafford and fiancée Molly Sanders of Ferdinand; he was a proud Poppy of three grandchildren, Zayda, Isaiah and Carson; two brothers Duane Stafford, Marty (Joella) Stafford of Petersburg; and one sister Lynna (Jim) Woolsey of Petersburg.
Kent was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron Stafford and Elsie Austin; and one sister Beth.
There will be a celebration of Life on Tuesday, May 22, at the Petersburg VFW from 3 to 6 p.m. with military honors at 4 p.m.
