“LINCOLN: A Pioneer Tale” audition date set

Auditions and interviews for the 2016 performances of “LINCOLN:  A Pioneer Tale” will be held Friday, February 19, 2016, from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. CST.

As part of Indiana’s Bicentennial Celebration, as well as the bicentennial of the Lincoln’s family arrival to Spencer County, the outdoor drama will be making a return to the Lincoln Amphitheatre’s stage in 2016 for a six-show limited engagement on July 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, and 16.

The musical play features a cast of approximately 32 with additional extra roles. There are roles for Children 10 and older as well as adult roles.

Auditions for lead roles, supporting roles and extra roles; singing and non-singing roles; and technical positions are February 19th from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. Dancer-only roles also available. If you are auditioning for a singing role please bring sheet music for a musical theatre song.  A pianist will be present to play your music. All non-singing and extra roles please bring a one-minute monologue from any play. You will also be asked to read from the script. For dancers only, please choreograph a one-minute dance (bring CD).
