Lincoln Drama Association is bringing ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ to Spencer County

The Lincoln Drama Association will present the family-friendly and holiday favorite It’s a Wonderful Life as part of and in conjunction with the Santa Claus Christmas Celebration weekends. 

The performances will be held at the Heritage Hills High School auditorium on Saturday, December 11 at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.; Saturday, December 18, at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.; and Sunday, December 19 at 2 p.m.  All times listed are central and each performance will last approximately one hour with no intermission.

Adult tickets are $9.95 and children 12 and under are $5 and available online now at  Tickets will also be available at the door (cash only) for each performance ($10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under).

It’s a Wonderful Life is a beloved American holiday classic and it will come to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast directed by Sandi Fortune. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.  It’s a Wonderful Life is presented in part by the Spencer County Community Foundation, is directed by Sandi Ludlow Fortune, and will feature a cast of local actors and actresses portraying multiple roles.
