Local entrepreneurs release second edition of special planner/calendar

After a successful 2016 launch, Dubois County-based business owners Crystal Buehler and Amanda Tempel are releasing a 2018 edition of their Empower + Attain Planner. The organizational product is designed for those seeking motivation and structure in their lives.

“Receiving orders that spanned all across the United States, from Boston to Texas, was a welcoming surprise during our first year, ” Tempel said. “Customers from all over have been eager to share how they’ve incorporated the Empower + Attain Planner into their life by sharing photos on social media and documenting their planner journey.”

The co-creators find it especially encouraging that fellow like-minded businesswomen are using the planner within their own businesses.

“I run a daycare with my sister and my hobby, gone full-blown second job, is decorating specialty sugar cookies for all occasions. I started using the planner to keep track of my customer’s orders – it’s easy to keep organized and allows me to manage my time,” Ferdinand business owner Jackie Begle said. “Plus, I can utilize the grocery shopping list, goal sheets, and daily activity tracking that’s included within the planner.”

The Empower + Attain Planner features over 250 pages of monthly and weekly layouts, a meal planning section, detailed finance section to track expenses, goal planning, self-reflection, and space to jot down thoughts and ideas. The 5.5″ x 8.5″ planner also features a durable metal wire-o binding, 100 lb. glossy cover with a protective clear cover and 60 lb. matte inside pages that are easy on which to write.

The planner is available online at aligningdesigns.com as well as at Finishing Touches in Jasper and Purple Plum in Huntingburg.

“Plus, we donate ten percent of each planner sale to Girls on the Run, an organization serving Dubois County that is committed to a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams,” said Buehler.
