Lowell E. Harris, Sr., 71
Lowell E. Harris, Sr., age 71, of Velpen, Indiana, passed away at 4:23 a.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
He was born July 6, 1941 in Buffaloville, Indiana to Omer and Goldie (VanWinkle) Harris. He married Raeanna Kays on February 4, 1961 in Huntingburg. Lowell was a retired carpenter and road construction worker; and was a member of the Carpenter’s Local #561. He was preceded in death by: his parents; two brothers, Lloyd Harris and Aaron Harris; and one sister, Jeanette Benze.

Funeral services for Lowell E. Harris, Sr. will be held at 10 a.m., E.S.T., on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2 to 8 p.m., on Friday.
