Mari Satterly Crew, 45

Mari Satterly Crew, age 45, of Jasper, passed away at 3:10 CST on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.

Mari was born on December 19, 1968 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Ernest Sr. and Anna (Patton) Satterly.

Mari was employed by Jasper Group Inc. in Jasper, and formerly worked as a cosmetologist.

Mari was always giving — her final gift was being a full organ and tissue donor, which will help up to 100 people in need.

She enjoyed spending time in the outdoors,  singing karaoke, dancing, gardening, fishing, horses, and spending time with family and coordinating activities with the children.

She is survived by her son, Canyon Crew, of Jasper; mother, Anna Satterly Grimes, of English; three sisters, Marilyn Grubler and her husband Wolfgang, of Jasper, Barbara “Bobbie D” Bowles and her husband Darrell, of English, and Charlotte Gunselman and her husband Fabian, of Ferdinand; two brothers, Jack Bright and his wife Cathy, of English, and Ernest R. Satterly Jr., of Winslow;  aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and two Godchildren.

Preceding her in death is her father, Ernest Satterly Sr.

Funeral services for Mari Satterly Crew will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Becher Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow at a later date. Pastor Doug Byrum will officiate.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, (March 10, 2014) at the Becher Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
