Edward “Ted” Miller, FACHE, FHFMA, CMCP has been named Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.
The change in leadership took effect on February 12, 2018.
Miller earned his bachelor of science degree in economics/finance with a secondary concentration in accounting from Bentley College in Waltham, MA and his master of business administration from Nichols College in Dudley, MA. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Miller is also a member of the Indiana Hospital Association Council on Finance and Chief Financial Officer Council for Healthcare Leaders Magazine. Miller has over 30 years of financial experience within healthcare systems, with the most recent being Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.
Miller says he is drawn to Catholic health care organizations because “it’s about service – serving each other, serving the hospital, and serving the community. People are in health care because they are called. I look forward to working at Memorial Hospital and being part of a team and a great organization that serves the community.”
Miller and his wife, Meredith, have two children: Wyatt, 19, and Mia, 11. He enjoys going to church with his family, golfing, exercising, reading, and boating at Patoka Lake.
