National Weather Service confirms at least 3 tornadoes hit area Monday morning

The National Weather Service Louisville office has been conducting surveys of the damaged areas in Dubois and Orange counties and determined that three tornadoes touched down Monday morning.
According to NWS, damage from an EF-1 tornado was found in areas along a track from northern Dubois County through downtown Paoli. However, it remains unknown if this was part of one longer-track tornado or multiple smaller tornadoes. Survey teams are investigating this on Wednesday to make a better determination.
Another EF-1 tornado touched down about half a mile north of Paoli. A third tornado classified as an EF-0 touched down one and a half miles south/southeast of Paoli near Pioneer Mother’s Memorial Forest.
Dubois County Emergency Management is asking residents to report all damages to 211 or online at https://in211.communityos.org/Disaster_Damage_Reporting.
Individuals will be asked to provide their name, address, phone number, damage to property and type of damage the property sustained.
This information is being collected to help Emergency Management/ Red Cross assess damage to the county and see if there is a need for any additional resources.
