Obermeier named as RideTech engineering project manager

RideTech announced the appointment of Kyle Obermeier as engineering project manager.

In this newly created role, Obermeier brings comprehensive experience from his United States Marine Corps and manufacturing background. Kyle served five years in the military as a jet engine mechanic.

Following his time in the Marines, Obermeier earned a B.S. in industrial supervision from the University of Southern Indiana. Kyle spent the last 12 years working in product development and project management roles for office/hospitality furniture manufacturers.

RideTech is investing heavily in Research and Development by constructing a larger Engineering Department, purchasing new equipment and attracting talented professionals for key management roles.

“With a long list of new product designs in queue, Kyle’s project management experience is a welcome addition to RideTech’s exceptional engineering team,” RideTech president and CEO Bret Voelkel said. “RideTech customers are already reaping the benefits of our accelerated R&D program. We’re equally thrilled that Kyle brings military experience to the department. We thank him for his service to our great country.”
