Paul Joseph Buschkoetter, 67, of Petersburg, passed away at 5:25 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born January 19, 1950, in Huntingburg to Ben and Lucilla (Heim) Buschkoetter.
Paul was a retired truck driver. He was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Petersburg. He loved spending time with his dog.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian (Fahnders) Buschkoetter, who died February 7, 2003; three brothers, Martin, Anthony and John Buschkoetter; and his sister and brother-in-law, Bertha (Bob) Veller.
Paul is survived by two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Lillian (Art) Sickbert of Jasper and Mary Lou (Albert) Sander of Huntingburg; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Ben (Deb) Buschkoetter, Jr. of Huntingburg and Charles (Wanda) Buschkoetter of Dubois; and two sisters-in-law, Marsha Buschkoetter of Huntingburg and Sharon Buschkoetter of Jasper.
Funeral services for Paul Buschkoetter will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. The funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Ryan Hilderbrand.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, the day of the funeral.
