Pedestrian struck in Jasper

A pedestrian received minor injuries when he was struck by a car in Jasper Tuesday.

According to police, Kim Geck, 61, of Huntingburg, was eastbound in a 2008 Toyota Camry on Hillside Drive at about 12:14 p.m. when the incident occurred. Geck told police she was unable to see John Brzezinski, 60, of Jasper, walking in the roadway due to the environmental conditions and her car struck him.

He was taken to Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Geck’s vehicle had about $450 in damages.

      Yeah, I thought the same thing. Some things are top secret – apparently the sun was out is what I figured.
