Phyllis C. Boeglin, 78, of Santa Claus, passed away at 8:38 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand.

Phyllis was born in Evansville, on July 10, 1938, to Samuel R. and Lillian (Angermeier) Cutteridge. She married Leo H. Boeglin on August 23, 1958, in St. James Catholic Church in Haubstadt, Indiana.

Phyllis retired from the Abbey Press in St. Meinrad, Indiana. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, the Jasper German Club and Psi Iota Psi. She enjoyed cards, especially Bridge, crossword puzzles, reading, crafting, sewing, shopping and collecting.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Leo H. Boeglin of Santa Claus; one daughter, Patricia Boeglin of Evansville; two sons, Edward Boeglin and his wife Shelly of Huntingburg, David Boeglin and his wife Mary Sue of Jasper; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Jo Barrett of Evansville; one brother, Samuel Cutteridge and his wife Susie of Eddyville, Ky.; several nieces and nephews; one aunt, Marge Hassler of Evansville.

Preceding her in death are one sister, Sharon Schmitt; one brother-in-law, David Barrett; and one grandson, Ted Boeglin.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Phyllis C. Boeglin will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017, at St. Henry Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper, Indiana.

A visitation will be held from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at, the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, and one hour before services at the church on Thursday.
