Pride in the Park Festival set for Friday, June 24

Pride in the Park is bringing a free, fun, family-friendly festival to Jasper’s Jaycee Park and the Jasper City Pool the evening of Friday, June 24.

Here’s what’s on tap: Food trucks open at 6 p.m. A pool party starts at 7 p.m. The Troubadours of Divine Bliss perform from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Louisville Turners Circus will roam the park from 7 to 9 p.m. A Glow Dance Party with Blast Off Entertainment DJing is scheduled from 9 to 10:30 p.m.

Games, including volleyball, cornhole and candy cannon, will be set up. Stations for face painting, henna tattoos and balloon animals will also be open as will a variety of information booths.

Food trucks and food stands include Madi’s Main Squeeze, Hens and Chicks, Cafe Pina, The Kitchen, Fistful of Tacos and Sisters of St. Benedict.

Dubois County Pride in the Park promotes inclusivity by showing support for the Dubois County LBGTQ+ community. The Dubois County Pride fest is one of dozens of events held in communities around Indiana and in hundreds of communities throughout the country during June, National Pride Month.
