Purdue SIPAC Field day will explore forage topics, PARP
A Purdue Extension workshop will help farmers and industry folks better understand forage management options.
The workshop, hosted by the Southern Indiana Purdue Ag Center (SIPAC) and cooperating partners, includes sessions on fertilizer application regulations for growers (PARP Topic), weed management & herbicides in pastures, insects – potato leaf hopper in alfalfa & sugar cane aphids in sorghum, and forage varieties with disease resistance.
The training workshop will be held on August 21, 2021, 1-5 p.m. EDT, at the Southern Indiana Purdue Agricultural Center (SIPAC), 11371 E. Purdue Farm Road, Dubois, IN.
This event is free to attend, but those requesting private applicator (PARP) credit will need to bring their OISC applicator license number and a $10.00 fee.
