Raymond C. Partenheimer, 90

Raymond C. Partenheimer, 90, of Holland, Indiana, passed away at 4:57 a.m., Monday, January 12, 2015, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born December 23, 1924 in Wickliffe, Indiana, to Joseph and Dora (Schott) Partenheimer. He married Doris C. Hilsmeyer on August 15, 1948 at the Holland Methodist Church Parsonage.
Mr. Partenheimer retired fr
om the Holland Dairy where he worked for 45 years. He was a member of the Holland United Methodist Church; the Methodist Men; the Holland American Legion Post #343 for 65 years; and the Holland Volunteer Fire Department for 35 years. He served as a corporal in the United States Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by one son, Douglas R. Partenheimer; five brothers, Walter, Paul, Pete, Jacob and Joseph Partenheimer; seven sisters, Lorena Partenheimer, Fronia Weigel, Freda Satkamp, Elsa Katter, Lydia Sheely, Elizabeth Gibson and Selma Merkel; and one great grandchild.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Doris C. Partenheimer of Holland; two daughters and two son-in-laws, Deborah K. (Donald) Neukam of Huntingburg and Dana F. (Kenneth) Peacock of Holland; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Partenheimer of Hollandl; one sister, Fredonia Collins of Holland; by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Raymond C. Partenheimer will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015, at the Holland United Methodist Church with burial to follow at the Holland United Methodist Cemetery in Holland, Indiana. Reverend Keith Chanley will officiate at the services. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Holland American Legion Post #343 Memorial Detail.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Wednesday; and also at the church from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Thursday. The Holland Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
