Robert Eugene Hunt, 77, Huntingburg

Robert Eugene Hunt, 77, of Huntingburg, passed away at 10:23 p.m., on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born January 17, 1940, in Muncie, Indiana to Oris and Evelyn (Wyne) Hunt and married Glenda A. Tull on June 22, 1979, in Crawfordsville.

Robert was a retired Indiana State Police trooper.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda A. Hunt of Huntingburg; daughters, Connie De La Cruz and Teresa Hughes both of Cloverdale; son, Randy Hunt of Putnamville; stepdaughter, Cassandra Cheatham of Greencastle; brother, Gary Dean Hunt of Philadelphia, Penn.; by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Robert Hunt will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Chapel from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.
