Rosalie C. Lueken, 88, Birdseye
Rosalie C. Lueken, 88, of Birdseye, passed away at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 2, 2018, at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper, Indiana.

She was a farmwife and homemaker. She worked at TRICAP and helped to organize blood drives for the Red Cross in the area.
She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish – Sacred Heart Campus.
She enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters, Ruth Goldman of Birdseye, Mary Jo (John) Theising of Birdseye and Janice (Dr. Bernard Jr.) Kemker of Jasper; three sons, Kenneth (Carol) Lueken of Hatfield, Mo., Paul (Geriann) Lueken of Birdseye and Dennis (Jackie) Lueken of Birdseye; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Melvin (Viola) Elmer of Jasper.
Preceding her in death besides her husband is one son-in-law, Reiss Goldman.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Rosalie C. Lueken will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. service time on Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers or memorial gifts, memorial contributions may be made to Northwood Retirement Community for the wonderful, loving care she received.
